FA-MT Multi-Fiber Array Receptacle for 400G/800G Transceivers - High Precision, Reliable, China Suppliers & Factory
Product Introduction
As a key component integrating the advantages of Fiber Array (FA) and MT (Mechanical Transfer) ferrule, FA-MT serves as a "bridge" for 40G to 800G high-speed optical transceivers to achieve parallel transmission, and is indispensable for internal micro-connection of optical transceivers and external port adaptation. It fixes 4 to 24 channels of optical fibers at precise intervals through V-groove substrates, and matches the miniaturized structure of MT ferrules to build a high-density optical path transmission link.
The core advantages of this product lie in its precision characteristics and flexible adaptability: the fiber core spacing error can be controlled within ±0.5μm, the single-mode insertion loss is less than 0.35dB, and the return loss reaches 60dB, which can adapt to the needs of various core spacing specifications such as 127μm to 1500μm. With 42.5° or 90° total reflection design, it can realize vertical steering of the optical path and directly couple with VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser), PD (Photodiode) arrays or silicon photonics chips, greatly simplifying the module packaging process.
In application scenarios, FA-MT is widely compatible with mainstream packaging types such as QSFP, QSFP-DD and OSFP. It not only supports the external port connection of 100G SFP 4 modules, but also meets the internal optical path interconnection needs of silicon photonics transceivers. Its characteristics of high integration and mass production have become a core support for breaking through the volume and power consumption bottlenecks of high-speed optical transceivers, helping to upgrade the bandwidth of data centers and 5G infrastructure.
